Wow, actually a holiday that Mick and I are BOTH off? Since becoming nurses, it sure has been rare! Having a WHOLE day, we headed up to Bob and Cathy's place at the Canal--Marty, Camilla, and the girls were already there with them. Although it was a bit windy, the weather was warm, food was filling (Turkey! Yum-O!), and company was the best.
Emma and I are truly blessed to belong to this family! :) Emma kept busy early on down at the beach, picking out every little shell piece she could grasp. Even Lola enjoyed running along the beach, sniffing everything up. Busy, busy day. But I couldn't have thought of a better place to spend it.
