Changes in the air...

Now that I have caught up with our life in pictures, I can update everyone on everything else.
After much consideration, I have decided to leave the cardiology office I've been working at and head back to the hospital. I really did learn a lot at the office, but found that as time went on, I really missed having patient contact. Don't get me wrong, I definitely had a part in our patient's care at the office, but it was hard for me to feel like I was truly helping them while parked at my desk. So, after one interview, I got hired on at St. Peter's hospital here in Lacey, working on the 4ht floor (medical-renal). Although it will be a bit of an adjustment heading back to hospital life, it will be refreshing to get out of the 8-5 rut, and have time again at home with Emma.
Friday was my last day at the office and I won't be starting my new job until Monday, the 14th. Mick and I decided that we could manage for me to take a week off in-between jobs. So here I am, my first day at home...and I'm spending my whole morning updating this blog after being up with a sick Em all night. What fun!! All is well, though. Mick (being the best boyfriend EVER) surprised me by booking 2 night at a cabin up at Mt. Rainier this week--just the two of us. **SIGH* Relaxation, here I come!!!
