Well, the new year has officially started! Although this post is a bit late, it is still my first post of 2006. For our little New Year's celebration, our friends John and Nicole came down from Renton with their son. A fairly uneventful evening (we just watched movies), but it was great spending time with them. They were pretty surprised at how big Em had gotten since they had last seen her! Okay, so this is the deal with me and New Year's: I can NEVER stay awake for the new year to arrive--NEVER. So, of course this year I vowed that I would make it til then. I'm happy to say that I did it, but crashed soon after. What can I say? I am definitely NOT a night owl!
Yesterday, Tuesday, was my first day of school for the quarter. Unfortunately, I have this feeling that it's going to be a brutal quarter. First off, we are starting the cardiac unit. The most bizarre part of all? We have to make an anatomically-correct model of a heart...with an apple. Nice, huh? I am definitely NOT the artistic type when it comes to that sort of thing! It's due next Tuesday, so we'll see how it turns out...

I am waiting for an update Melissa.. getting impatient.. we shouldve taken a picture of her being up all nite crying at my house on saturday nite lol :P just kidding.. i love you.. looking forward to that next update!!!!!
